Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and flight training, participants are introduced to the world of aviation. In addition to technical skills, the program emphasizes the development of essential life skills such as honor, courage, goal setting, and follow-through.
• Honor: Students are taught the importance of integrity, respect, and accountability both in the air and on the ground. They learn that being true to one’s word is essential in aviation and in life.
• Courage: Through challenges in aviation, students build the mental toughness to face fear, take calculated risks, and step outside of their comfort zones.
• Making a Plan: Participants engage in activities that require them to set goals, plan their steps, and develop the discipline to follow through. This could include flight planning, career mapping, or personal growth goals.
• Follow-Through: As students progress, they are encouraged to see their tasks through from start to finish. Whether it’s completing a flight lesson or achieving a milestone in their education, follow-through is emphasized as a key to success in aviation and beyond.
