SUMMARY:March 13th-15th Spring Break Aviation Camp
DESCRIPTION:Life Skills with the principals of aviation. \n\nAloft Inc. presents: \n\n\n\n3 day Spring Break Aviation Camp for youth ages 11-18. \n\n\n\nMonday March 13th \n\n\n\n9am-3pm \n\n\n\n-Maui Aviators will be offering introductory flights that will earn participants hours towards their pilots license. \n\n\n\n-Life flight pilot CJ Wetzler will give a guided tour of their King Air aircraft and company operations. \n\n\n\n-Tour the East ramp and learn about the different aircrafts up close! \n\n\n\nDrop off:  Maui Aviators. \n\n\n\n*Parents or guardians will need to  park and enter to sign release forms in the Maui Aviators office. Anyone over the age of 16 entering the AOA secured area must bring a government I.D. \n\n\n\nTuesday March 14th \n\n\n\n9am-1pm \n\n\n\n-Tour of the Maui Air Traffic Control Tower and facilities. \n\n\n\n-Tour of Windward Aviation’s (Fire Helicopters) operation and maintenance facility. \n\n\n\n-Participants will be treated to a Fire Helicopter Air Show! \n\n\n\nDrop off: Maui Air Traffic Control Tower entrance \n\n\n\n\nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/CP5DxdZNGcPDkPsR9?g_st=i\n\n\n\n\nPick up: Windward Aviation \n\n\n\nWednesday March 15th \n\n\n\n9am-1pm \n\n\n\n-Tour of the Kahului Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Station. \n\n\n\n-Possible live fire burn (TBD). \n\n\n\nDrop off and pick up: Kahului Airport Fire Station \n\n\n\n\nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/zatWxu1U9zUAt1jB9?g_st=i\n\n\n\n\nSuggested donation $150 for all three days. Only 10 spots available. \n\n\n\nParticipants will each receive a pilots log book. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring: Lunch/snack\, water bottle. \n\n\n\nPlease wear closed-toed shoes and a hat for sun protection. \n\n\n\nPlease note that the majority of the activities will be in the secured Airport Operational Area (AOA)\,  participants are expected to pay close attention to facilitators\, stay with the group at all times\, and conduct themselves in a respectful and mindful manner. \n\n\n\n** Bonus session with Air Maui on Monday 4pm-6pm. ** for participants of camp. \n\n\n\nComplimentary15 minute flight tour in an Air Maui helicopter! \n\n\n\nNO ADDITIONAL COST. \n\n\n\nMust RSVP at time of registration. \n\n\n\nDrop off and pick up: Air Maui \n\n\n\nParents are invited and encouraged to stay for the entire duration.
